Does anyone in shiteland have one they could measure up for me?

The bare bones block with head attached............. All ancillaries removed ie. cooling fan plus extension, manifolds, fuel pump, dizzy, thermostat housing with pump, flywheel and bellhousing adaptor plate (which is very wide on the width).

Approx.

Lengh    25"

Width     9"

Height    24.5"

Can measure with all the crap on if needed.

My favourite thing about the Triumph straight six is the fabulous noise it makes.

Straight sixes are the most sportingly refined sounding engines, unlike those brash V8s.

I will stand down then.

This engine is the one that has given me my forum name, I was 18 when I first had one.

If it does fit.....anyone got one for sale?

That's a bit cryptic...........coz once all the shiz that makes the thing actually work is bolted back on you'll find it's grown in size quite a lot.

I'd deliberately run my routes home from anywhere through the Brussels ring tunnels to have it bouncing off the walls around me.......... grin therapy #allstereosareshit

Best off trying the following: Club Triumph and the TSSC in all fairness.

Couple on ebay..........although length may be  [fnar, fnar] an issue...........

I looked on eBay, but they did not seem to be a known quantity. My feeling was that they were not worth taking a chance unless you wanted a basis for reconditioning an engine.
