Well, I cheaped out and instead of getting some generic washer pump I got a proper Lucas one.  Had to warm up the hose with a lighter to push it on to the barb.  

Took it for a test and..

Bum hats.

Ordered up

This one had to be unscrewed from the hose rather than from the cylinder.  Still fucked it.  Forgot to take a pic of the new line, but I did replace this.

Do you need to set the air suspension into a service mode to replace the sensor? You'd expect it to go mental with the sensor just dangling!

No, but you can't calibrate them without the proper computer.  It's going in on Friday to finally get aligned and height sorted

I did mention we've not seen him for a while on here.  He doesn't have a shiter at the moment which probably doesn't help but will definitely mention it again next time I bump in to him

On the way back I picked up the L322.  Which is now probably for sells since it's driving better than it has in the time I've had it (full alignment and height / steering calibration, £318..)

Tyres on the 205 have lots of tread but are summer tyres and 10 years old.  I promised myself after the LS400 got written off that I'd not fuck around with old tyres on cars I have any intention of driving the kids around in.

 

Best get the tyre machine set up again then.
