Well has the corolla got a last minute reprieve this has to go. Now firstly a trusted member has asked for first dibs on this which I have said is fine.So I am putting it on to share pictures for him to see. If he no longer wants said steed then everyone welcome.

So it's a manual 1.8 st. 123,000 miles. Two fobs and keys.Excellent mot history.New discs and pads for last mot. I got it from a chap who has had it twelve years. There is lots of old bills and stuff. I asked him about the cambelt and he wasnt sure. He assumes its been done but who knows. There is a reciept for one twelve years ago. Just fitted new tyres and door speakers and electric arial. Bad bits. Cd player no worky.pictures really flatter the paintwork. It does look thus nice but like a model with no make up when you get close up its a bit crap in places.Butvit runs really well. If i had space i really would just put it on my drive and look at it. But its only a four seater and i need a five for my daily school run, hence corolla. Its in merseyside by m62. Thank you.I have edited it to say. I would lik £350.00.for this for a painless sale. It will no on eBay for more if no interest here.

I think so. I also think the 1.3 corolla I have is has well. Seeing has the corolla's paperwork file was the green slip. To be fair to the chap he had just bought his wife a brand new Mercedes and she was making him sell this because he didn't really use it and he could have her old 4 litre something mercedes.

One of those will go for ever; isn't the 1.8 non interference?

Not at all, many people on here would interfere with that

Well hopefully over the next month or so this will be involved in cross country swappage fun..with said interested party.I shall retrieve this from my mums this week has corolla insurance runs out and I shall use this then swap over to corolla or new barge .

Nice cars, looks like a bargain

I've got some bits for one of these that the buyer is more than welcome to take away. From memory, a silver bonnet, set of headlights, various bits of interior trim, at least one back light and possibly some other odds and ends. I'm in Bolton, so not too far from the seller.

Inbox me if yu want them, it'd be a shame to bin them all.

Oof, these have always been at the edge of my radar. GLWTS!

Count me in if it falls through, always loved this model of Celica.

Will these be on classic insurance yet? If so, I would like in please.

I SEE THE JOKE!!

When I tried 'classic' insurance, for my '91 Carina II, I was dismissed - out of hand - "The only classic made by Toyota would be a Celica!"

I recall the look on my face... sitting alone in the company van, under Tesco in Gateshead... lolzz

I have decided to keep hold of this in the end and get shut of my corolla, whilst not making much effort to sell it. So if anyone wants a 1.3 m reg corolla ,future classic status guaranteed. Let me know.

Don’t blame you, they are great cars and decent ones are disappearing fast. They won’t be cheap forever either. If you change your mind give me a shout.

Thread resurrection. Seeing has I have only used this once or twice. I have decided to let it go. It's still the same and taxed and insured to get you home. I would like £250.00 please for a easy sale. The ABS light is still on . To be fair the Bluetooth radio and wheels and tyres are worth that probably. So anyone fancy this. Located in miseryside.

Is there any test left on it, chief? Apologies if I’ve missed that bit.

Mot till the 5th may. Abs could be easy or a nightmare. Either way I would have to put it into a garage and see. So can't be bothered so would rather just get rid .

Gaaaaah...... really want one of these proper 6th gen models (it's the Rover-esque headlights), just not at the moment.

There's been one for sale up here for the same price for a while, but silver and rusty. Has to be red for one of these. Admittedly if a 2.0 came up, I'd probably spring for one immediately

Hope it stays in the 'shite fambly, so I can have a go later.... GLWTS (or roffle ;))

Rover-esque headlamps? I think you'll find that these cars directly influenced the mighty Kia Shuma.

Now sold to a fellow member of the parish. They have however ticked the no publicity box and taken the fifth amendment. Hopefully the end of the month all will be revealed.

The Mrs and I have just had a massive rare up about me not having it even though she will be taxied around in it all the time .....apparently I've got to get rid of the Sigma but then she finds it useful for carrying her large loads .... then I've got to get rid of the mk1 Mx5 but then she finds it good to get the roof down ..... just as well she doesn't know about the A6 1.8 and the Focus titanium tdci ....

Mysterious!

Would be an ideal candidate for possibly a retrospective publication of the japanese persuasion!
