The Dolly has been removed but the Escort is still there. I bet if you want to buy it you have to pay with Western Union and then they will 'deliver' the car to you. Of course the car will not arrive.....When I placed a wanted ad for a Fiat 132 once (got one now) someone contacted me offering me a nice one cheap. Of course when I asked to see it I never got a reply!

The Escort was listed legitimately a couple of weeks ago. These delightful scammers just lift the pictures and text from a high-priced car auction, and then use them to advertise something they haven't got at a tenth of the price to make it an unmissable offer.

Would love one of these, really appeals to my fetish for strange saloons. Crazy price though. There was a yellow one in the North east a while back for sale, wonder what became of it. Great dash.

"PLEASE NOTE THE POLISHED ALLEYCAT WHEELS WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE IF THE RESERVE IS MET"

LOL. do you want to tell them or can I?HIDEOUS trims aside that's really quite lovely, and the roof is all ready for some lace action. Carlisle though, might as well be fricking Mars.

On the subject of Arrows, mate of mine just picked this up for a one-er:

Been off the road and dry stored since 1992, but fired straight up with petrol tipped down the carb and the only bit of welding it needs is one outrigger on the offside front. It came with a spare OSF wing and loads of other bits including an engine and overdrive box (which are finding their way into his son's H120). And being a Humber it's all posh inside and has overdrive too. Jammy bar steward.

Bloody hell, what a steal wuvs!

I am warming to the idea of a nice Mk3 Septic. Would have to be both manual AND tax exempt though really.

Also, I want this. BADLY.

Which is turdcakes because I KNOW that those pics are taken about 200 yards from my parents house. And they have a nice empty garage. And I've got no flaming cash. GAH.

Wuvvum, does sound good!Pog, Rapier is geat! Except for the furry fibreglass sill! I prefer the earlier ones though as the front of these IVs and Vs isn't quite as nice. Small wheels too.

Agreed, looks like that one will avoid being killed so as a Minor may live. :)

Q: what a minter Doctor , a real "find" please don't sell Her to the BBC and Clarkson's mob , I am sure She will find a good owner ,good luck with Her. Martin

Oh, this kind of shit really makes my blood boil. It's this type of 'classic' car fan that makes me really tempted to buy that Marina and give it something that would make a Top Gear durability test look like a trip to the valeters.

GRRR-RRR-RR-R.
