I think the Mestro has been spotted on here before (nothing wrong with that though). Wasn't this the one Father Ted was looking at? I reckon it's worth the money personally.

hey that Maestro is inetersting. I read somewere about them running out of RHD front carpets and fitting LHD ones with the rubber mat moulded into the LH side instead. Looks like it was true!

this guy will help you 'sort out' that dull-looking XJ40 clogging up your driveway, using bits removed from his classic jag as it has 'come to the end of its life':

I got her in 2003 and drove her around for about a year before I decided it was time to restore her. I then put her in the garage and ignored her in earnest other than starting her up, driving her round the block and putting her back in the garage.

A couple of weeks ago I had another burst of energy which resulted in me putting her in the drive, replacing the perished tyres and taking her round the block again. However, on getting her back, the clutch slave cylinder gave up the ghost and I gave up all pretence of fixing her up.

FFS man! 0.2/10. It hardly needs a brain damage rebuild does it.

"I AM GOING TO RESTORE THIS CAR.

OH SHIT, THE SLAVE CYLS GONE. THATS IT I GIVE UP."

Could do a Bickle style Renault Estafette van A-frame job on it. :)

At least they salvaged some bits off it, including, I hope, the hideous dashboard.

Looks like the sills were a bit shagged and I expect the rear chassis/spring hangers especially so for it to fold up and loose its axle like that. A lot of work to put right and simply not financially viable. Most of the trim is different to mine so not worth it for me.
