Mrs Faker new stock car - page 2

She decided she'd like a go (before turning 40!) at racing stock cars, I simply had to do the decent thing and build a car!

Wee car needs front suspension sorted, then a lick of paint. Wee car's very very sound, with the only rot being the filler neck (steel inside the quarter panel, not the outer panel) and the spare wheel well. Everything else is good.

Been up to Ballymena once for a race (as spectator) was good craic but I've heard the football club don't like you using the pitch as run off!!

I trust you have a foam cover for that Kirkey seat.

They are only thin foam but better than metal.

When my wife was racing everyone used to volunteer to tighten her belts up for some unknown reason.

I have an unnatural urge to do that with my parents' Saxo. Do the rules let you plate over sunroofs?

Aye hot rod class. Not bangers. I do like the doll, wouldn't want to her getting a hard time!

Yep, I've a cover too. I've also noticed plenty of assistance from concerned folk with regard to harness tension!

Nice build, hope she has fun and stays safe.

My 13 year old Nephew loves oval racing,

he races a Micra at Tipperary raceway.

Fabulous.

I'm contemplating a classic hot rod at present!

Are the marshals doing a REALLY thorough job of harness tension testing?

Oops. Trust she was ok for her little Australian moment?

Can you adjust your signature too Mr Faker? Photobucket has kindly ruined it for you.

Set up quite well too in the end. NYPD style pit manoeuvre, when the driver behind chased her tail for 4 or 5 laps.... Mrs Faker would be a feisty doll.... she'll get her revenge... (if I can get her back out again)
