Brought this off a fellow member RichardK last year in the summer and its been a cracking car!

Just passed 130k 
Is A S Reg so 1998 model

3.0 petrol MPG Can range from 7 To 40 Depending how you drive Lol

Location Brighton, East Sussex

 

Good Bits

Cambelt kit which the kit cost 200+ and the water pump changed August last year at 125k (this is a Â£800+ job on these engines)

Black leather interior (front seats are heated and electric)

Sunroof (which was a optional extra on these cars)

Working A/C (didnt when i got the car but got it re-gassed and has worked perfectly since)

All the electrics work on the car 

Body work its okay for its age

Gearbox is nice and smooth (oil was changed last at the same time as the cambelt, a few metal shards on the magnetic sump plug)

Clutch holds the power very well with no slipping or noises (no paper work of it ever being changed however there is a inspection plate on these gearboxs and my mechanic said theres plenty of meat left on it)

194 BHP 0-60 7.6 seconds 

Only 10 Yellow Coupes left on the uk roads i have heard 

No multiplex electronics like the later ones

ARB has new bushed fitted (ARB wasnt fitted when i brought the car)

Big Brembo brakes with ABS all working (disks and pads have plenty of life in them)

Lots for paper work for car and past mot's (though you can check these online now)

 

Bad bits 

Sump leaks a little (2p size oil mark under car in the morning)

Paint work a little faded along the bottom o/s

Front bumper has a crack with the lacquer chipping in that area

small split in drivers seat bolster (BB Autos on ebay quoted me 50 for a good condition seat, they seem to have many of these cars for breaking)

 

MOT had a few advisory's

Exhaust Has a minor leak (rear box could do which a replacement)

Oil leak (as said the sump leaks which is common on these engines)

Both rear tyres worn/damaged (These have been replaced with some bridgestones)

Both front Brake hoses have slight corrosion to Ferrules (my mechanic had a look and he said they looked fine but did put some corrosion inhibitor on them)

I forgot to mention that I got hold of a nearly new (6 months on car) front coil pack and a spare n/s wing mirror, they were my friends and he just wanted to get rid of them so they will go with the car to =)

 

And the front bonnet struts were replaced so the bonnet stays up by itself!
