Cars in Colour

Most my cars have been colourful, that helps to find them in a car park.

You see many small cars in yellow but very few bigger ones. Why is that?

I wanted to take a picture of the front of this woman's boot sale stall, so you could admire all the fluffy pink shite she was flogging. You might* be able to make out the owner in the pic

She even had the Barbie logo on the left rear quarter

Quite the opposite, I'd say.

Any excuse to post one of my own. As mentioned in other places the local Škoda meet is really an Octavia VRS meet as they are generally the most enthusiastic owners. It's usually a sea of silver and Race Blue (which quite a nice colour in itself but quite common on these). So I thought this was quite a colourful line up. 

Apart from the silver BMW getting in the way.

Gave both cars a quick wash to get the dust off yesterday, caught a glimpse from the right angle and though of this thread. The Suzuki in that lovely shade of Turquoise they do and the Octavia holding up well at 12 years old.

Came across this picture while looking for old photos of Nottingham's charming Hyson Green.

That photo with the yellow Escort is only 10 years old, that shop looks like something from the 80s!  The original is on Flickr but link sharing is disabled on that photo for some reason.

RNN445N is SORN, it failed an MOT in 2016, but not catastrophically.

So they leave free oil outside, that's good to know.

My eyes keep being drawn to the "Welcome to Hyson Green" neon sign. By the look of the wiring hanging out of it the sign no longer welcomes night time visitors with its soft glow. 

Which seems like a shame to me.

And so close to the tram wires too. They could just* run a wire of of those to illuminate it.
