Cars in Colour

Saw this today and I don't think I've ever seen a white Ronnie Pickering before, they all seem to be that blue colour.

That blue colour you mean is another one for the stupid car colour names list, officially titled "Cool Mint"

Citroen Karma Purple is a favourite of mine at the moment.  This is the best picture I've found that shows off the range of purples it pulls off.

Quite partial to Vauxhall's Salmon Red too.  It's not quite orange, red or pink.

In fact, Vauxhalls are one of the very few cars that can really pull off pink quite well.

Particularly keen on this rather more subtle shade combined with the deep pink roof.

One day, I'd very much like to be able to afford a car painted in Rover's Moonshine.

In today's overcast light, it looks more silver than blue.

Car colours need better names. None of this Moondust Silver or Arctic White nonsense. Fiat had one called Cha Cha Blue for gods sake. What we need are names like these:

Simply Red

Hughie Green

James Brown

Hi Ho Silver

Deep Purple

Rabbi Lionel Blue

Be much easier to remember the colour names when ordering touch up pens.

Looks very much like the wrapping on Ferrero "Mon Chéri"

Waaaaay back at the beginning of this thread, which I had never seen before:

I prefer my Land Rovers in Monte Carlo Blue. Looks especially good on the 3dr Freelander.

Mind you, I think it suits the L322 too.

I have a Discovery 2 in this colour and it looks brilliant.  So much more interesting than another non-descript boring bland colour.

I've always fancied something in a jazzy colour, alas Ive only owned cars in fairly middle of the road colours.

Bianco white Panda.

Galaxy blue MK2 Fiesta.

Flame red 2 hhr 420 saloon.

China blue 406 saloon

Moonstone 407 saloon

Thorium grey 407 saloon

Bourrasque blue 508

And my RCZ is Shark grey, looks good in the sun. Loads of metal flake, pink, green, blue.

I rather like Ford Azure blue too, painted one of my Raleigh Burners this colour in my friend's dad's garage, he's still finding blue dust 25 years later
