Here's a vague photo, will get a better one eventually.

It looks early 80s in shape, but not coupe even though it has a spoiler on the boot and is ling enough to have four doors.

The roof line corner isn't curved like a Sierra, it's quite sharp.

I'm thinking is a Lada with a totally inappropriate spoiler fitted.

Could it be a late model Renault 18 with all the plastic bits on it?

 

That tail definitely kicks up a bit so a low level spoiler seems to be a given

I'd concur. That's what led me to think SD3.
