Put a new battery on this this morning. Started first crack and sounds ace, five mile test run was ok but it's still hunting though only when in 'N' so doesn't happen in 'D' which means it's fine to drive. Thought the CD player didn't work but it does, car slightly clunky overpot holes but nothing too alarming. I took two of the threee stickers off the back and gave the boot a quick polish, looks a lot better now.

That's a super tidy thing that. A workmate had an auto one of these, couldn't kill it. He eventually canned it when it needed brake lines for the MoT but it was still going strong.

Disappointingly the interior is quite clean, it's also (apparently) had a new alternator and cat recently, at some stupid cost. I'd take them off, but I can't actually be arsed so I'll ring round the scrap traders I think and see what I get offered.
