From what I understand, the only difference between the 90bhp and the 110bhp is the nozzle size on the injector and the map..

First Leon turned out to have been plastidipped. I walked away.

 

Second one (silver one of eBay fame) drove really nicely bar a slightly long pedal. Suspension and steering felt great. Serpentine belt tensioner was squeeking. It ends tomorrow, seller let slip reserve is 750ish.. STEEP

 

A gold 51 reg golf SDI sold before I could view (about 3hrs after the ad went up)

Neither do I but it was local and cheap. I walked away and an mot check shows that to be right. No not for 2 yes yet gained 100k..

I concur with that interpretation. 

 

Possibly worth making a reasonable offer, he may see that repeatedly relisting it and shill bidding against himself is costing him £18 a time and it's worth taking a bit less to get it gone.

He offered me it at 800, then at 785 so I think we're a way off the 600 I'd want to pay..

The VAG TDi has more than just injector differences between 90 and 100bhp, the turbo is different too.  It's easier to get a 110 to >130bhp though with remap kits.
