Kings cross achieved.

And promptly my train arrives, sadly leaving no time for bacon.

Also, no poos etc.

Is this a clue? Seat Leon perhaps?

Negative.

You'd make an excellent detective, or perhaps a wacky PI.

Oh no. The next train is full of posh people with loud voices in suits talking about the price of lobster.

I think because Newmarket.

Start talking about the price of oil in Cost-Co. They'll think you're an oil trader!

Actually maybe it's a sign. There's a tiny bit of Essex yuppie about my new motor.

Is that a clue? Mitsubishi Delica?

EDIT: Essex equals Ford, yuppie equals 1980s / early 1990s and just a 'tiny bit' of yuppie rules out Escorts, Sierras and Capris. So it's a Granada Cosworth.

Those are the best wheels I've ever seen on a Golf! Hope it is a 1.9 SD.

Thanks y'all. It appears to be a total honey. Tiny bit of rust on the from wings, but immaculate apart from that.

The guy has been through the mechanicals with a fine toothcomb, new dampers, bushes, linkages everywhere. Practically all the engine ancillaries and cooling system is new too. Total perfectionist.

I'm gonna wait a while to make sure it doesn't Mayo or fall to bits before saying "MASSIVE BARG" but right now I'm feeling quietly gleeful. It's the closest to new feeling car I've ever owned. Actually, it is the newest car I've ever owned.

Feels so much better on the packed streets of London than the dizzle Bx. Result!

It's the 90hp 1.8.
