Roffle Someone is getting a Car for a pint - TONIGHT!

Time for the swift to move on. Absolute hoot to drive (given me my first speeding ticket in 6 years).

It is pretty much a new car, with hardly any miles on it. 1.0 is pretty quick off the line although 80mph can get noisy!

Cheap insurance, 40 mpg make it a good runabout.

No abs or power steering to get in the way of a focused driving experience.

The Challenges

1 of the tyres popped of the rim. I swapped on the spare but it will need reseating before going back on the car
Front and rear bumpers have lost some of their paint
Windows occasionally pop off the runners (will try to fix if it stops raining)
Front wings have got scrapes. Spare pass included in sale.

Aside from the bumpers it is such a straight car, barely worn in.

Located in Accrington although if someone down south wanted it this week i may be able to deliver.

You got a speeding ticket in one of these? Good going. Also no shit 80mph is noisy, you're doing 4k RPM at that point. Out of curiosity, how many miles did you do before filling the tank (if you filled right up each time)?

52bhp at 5700rpm & 76 Nm at 3300rpm, 0-60 is apparently 16 second and the top speed supposedly 90mph, but I don't really believe that. In this spec probably around 800kg. Handbook says 745kg to 935kg for the 3 door hatch.

Always up for a Roffle if there is interest.

 

Mpg was slightly worse than 1.3 due to gearing, was getting 40 mpg round town but tank is tiny!

I think performance figures are irrelevant with this. The 3 cylinder awesomeness purring away like a cat with mumps makes you feel like you're screaming around at the ragged edge even when you're just pottering through B+Q carpark.

I've driven it all of 20yards and can confirm that the interior is absolutely mint. It really does feel like a new car. I can also confirm that it is (mostly) red.

Did someone say Roffle?  I'm in!  The last time I won a car from Moog Roffles Ltd it did daily duty for me all through the winter, including the Cadillac collection.  I can therefore vouch for the quality of the goods supplied.

Preston would be best I could do train collection wise. I may even be able to drive it to Edinburgh/Kinross if that helped someone (they would have to insure it though)
