1993 Peugeot 405GLTD estate
Bosch pump so veg friendly
113,000 miles, V5 (not in my name) shows two owners from new!
It does look well cared for, though does have the odd old giffer type thing like black overspray by the bumpers here and there
MOT 5th September, taxed to get you home
Towbar and electrics
Several thousand pounds worth of GLDT DIESEL etc lettering on the boot
Snazzy alloys with ace tyres
No load cover
Dent to the bottom of the n/s/r quarter
Orange peel paint on bonnet
Evidence of previous welding
Some surface rust to sills
I think the o/s/f brake calipers is sticking or it needs a wheel bearing as there's drone from that area.
Starts up great but left door open for ten minutes the other day and the battery flattened, last keeper said battery went flat on them once too. It'll start up fine now, so work that one out.

I'm probably selling my other one too at some point.

£350, Chester. Might be up for some sort of stupid swap or deal or something.

I don't think so mate but will have a look. I have a feeling I lost a few messages when the board went askew. I haven't deliberately ignored you or anything I promise.

I went to move this tonight to get to my garage and realised it's just in the way and not being used.

Anyone want it for £250?

Clutchy?

What's clutch like in this?

I don't think it's too bad, will try and get chance to give it a drive over weekend.

I really like this.

I bought another Escort but didn`t check properly undeneath and it won`t do another MoT without lots of welding.

How good is it? Would this be too good an example to use as a workhorse?  It would be a shame to dog a good one, but my since my Escort I replaced it with another one but didn`t have a good look underneath and it is a little crunchy.....

Probably very similar to the identically engined Xantia.

That's what I'm afraid of!

To be honest if I keep it I'd just use it as a hack anyhow for tip runs etc when I wasn't in the van. You're more than welcome to come over and have a go of it/good look round.

I shall be in Ruthin next week but not sure which day. I shall try and combine the two!

You're pretty much passing my door, depending which way you go. I'm a mile off the A55/M53.

Ok great that should be an easy collection.  I may be in touch next week.

So busy though it may be the week after if it hasn`t gone by then.

Never had a bad car of Cavcraft. WOULD RECOMMEND.

Why wasn't this available BEFORE I got my Xantia?

Fucking love 405s, and an estate with a Bosch pump! Hnnngh!

Open to a take it now, pay later scheme to a long termish shiter if it helps.

Not yet!

I think I`ll say yes to this....

I can do the opposite of your suggested payment method and wire you the money first so you know I`m serious.

Can pick up either later this week or next week. Not sure when I shall be working in Ruthin but if I haven`t heard by the weekend then I shall just come up and trailer it back. That would be a shame though, there is something exciting about driving back home in an unknown car.

However,  I need the space so there shall be a 405 saloon coming up for sale very soon if anybody fancies that instead.....

That's fine Tom, message me whenever it suits, cheers.

That loadspace looks huuuge. I imagine you could kip in that fully stretched out.
