As long as it doesn't keep you from enjoying shit old cars, that's the key thing here.  Trouble is, the sort of scrotes responsible for this always do low-level* stuff so they never get put away on any one thing, it sort of has to hit critical mass.  Had a similar bunch of scrotes when I lived at Bolsover, cutting through the garden, trying to break into the house and garage, setting fires in the access lane, that sort of bollocks.  Eventually they cock up, sometimes we get really lucky and they take themselves out of the gene pool spectacularly and even the tree they hit survives.

Your not wrong - just been given an 11 grand vat bill ( backdated a year ) to pay . That's vat on a years work that I didn't charge but now have to pay because my previous accountant was a useless cunt . Basically I've had a 20% pay cut backdated a year !

While I agree what has happened to Trigs Astra is terrible and they need shooting - there are plenty of people in much worse financial situations on here .

I love caring topics such as this, it's nice to see that not all people are arseholes even though it does seem that way at times. When the Skoda Owners' Club started to support the Bullies Out charity out of respect for me because of a personal tragedy that I suffered in 2014 it brought home how nice genuine people can be. I was very touched by that and imagine that Trigger is very touched in this case too.

 

My suggestion if Trigger doesn't want/need donations is to set up some sort of regular support for a suitable charity in a similar way that the Skoda Club has.

I'm with you there 2smoke, like i say, there's people in a stickier wicket than me who are more deserving, thats a real shitbag situation to find yourself in.

 

The way i see it (and i know this sounds a bit corny or whatever) but I've been lucky enough to have been blessed child this year which we never thought we would ever have and nothing can take that way so 2016 has still be our best year by far.

 

I like your idea of a charitable donation and i have a couple of well needed charities in mind, if people would like to donate than thats their choice but any money there is I'll pass onto a charitable cause if people are happy with that.

Thank you everyone. Your really didn't need to do this but it has made me feel that little bid happier after whats happened. It goes to show that there are still some bloody nice people out there.
