Thanks for sharing, Trigmeister.  Just ordered some Jeep ignition bits, since GSF don't do the right ones.  Sadly they don't have any Disco power steering pipes.

ECP pricing really fucks me off - nearly always cheaper to click and collect than use my trade account except when I need things like 20L of oil

Posted

12 litres of Castrol and 2 Bosch aero wipers for £50.

Cheers man!

Thanks Trigger.

Unfortunately the discount doesn't apply to tools, so I've been forced to buy stuff I need instead of fun stuff.

Where the fuck do you enter the discount code - got all teh way through the checkout and couldnt find anywhere to use it.

Found it - a combination of "brasting for a slash" and "fuck fuck fuck its five to nine"

These were already reduced in the clearance section, but got another £4 off them.

I like the "all the way across" rear mat - GR9 for kids in an MPV rear seats from shittying up the carpets too much - Cheers Trigger

Just bought a clutch slave cylinder for the Panda as I just found out the bleed hex screw (whos make the bleed screw a hex water can sit in) is total borked.

There's another flash sale again tonight, same as before between 1900-2100pm. Use code FLASH30.

I wonder what proportion of ECP's sales are of wrong parts which are never returned? I've a set of Volvo S/V70 second gen front Pagids, if anyone wants 'em.

That's the third sale in four days for them, first was 30% off all day, second 25%, now 30% again for a couple of hours. Managed to grab a front wing for the Aldi a few days before that for only 26.5% off, I'd have saved another £1.50 or something with 30% off. Bloody crazy. Would have happily payed another £20 for something half-decent.

Thanks for sharing, I just got the email too.  As a result, three cars serviced (well, oil and filters for 3 and plugs for the Puma) for less than £100 - can't really complain!

I didn't bother with the rotor arm and dizzy cap for the 214, I've never yet had ECP send the right ones on any car but filters and oil seem reliable enough.

I have a full set of dealer rubber Proton mats in the Toyyo of much Mintyness©. They were in my 1.5 MPi.

They comprise 5 pieces - 2 in the back + a tunnel cover, sort of locked with interlocking stubbly bristles into the 2 mats.

Hardwearing kit ;)

Mann oil, air, and pollen filters for the daily - £15. Mahle versions from Opie would have been twice that.

VERDICT - I'm a bad, thrillin' dangerous saving a few quid on my filters Muthafucka. Sha'mone!!
