Six-cylinder Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Time to get real, I have busted all sensibility of what I can afford and the logistics of driving my collection, now it has grown to 55 cars! First offering is a 2002 Rover 75 Club SE 2.5 V6 Auto Touring, it looks smart with just a few chips and age related marks with dark grey cloth. It has done 181,000 miles but it drives very well. I can’t find any service paperwork in the book pack but I know the last owner who had it 10 years and looks after his cars so I can ask him for details. The only thing is the ABS/Engine light come on after a while and need putting out. Dash says 9000 miles to the next service and sticker on the engine says the cam belt was changed at 167k 29-8-14. It has two new front tyres and it is MOTed 8th June 2017. Two working remote keys and oh yes and the aircon is cold! The 75 is in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire MK18 and I can collect you from Milton Keynes, Aylesbury or Bicester. When I get round to advertising it I will ask around £700 but £394.40 from a shiter will cover my costs. The Moog, Skizzer, oldcars and 5 others 8

Bear Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 That's rather lovely and a bit of a bargain! Of course, you know what I'm after next, but that's the first time I've been tempted by a 75
Lord Sterling Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Well, this would normally be a way for me to get into 75 ownership. But even I have too many cars now. A fleet reduction is the only way for me.
stephen01 Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Fuck me this seems like a bargin, I literally have no room or use for such a fine motor, I really wish I did!
Six-cylinder Posted June 30, 2016 Author Posted June 30, 2016 Oh shit. I'm in Aylesbury. I was hoping it would be Inverness or somewhere... I drove this 75 to Aylesbury and back yesterday. eddyramrod 1

It is blue in case you didn't know.I'm 27 with 8 years NCB and no claims / convictions / points. I was paying £280 a year on my last V6 when I lived oop norf. Paying something daft like £500 on the current diesel. If i change my postcode back to oop norf it more than halves the quote Aylesbury, innit. Comparison sites aren't coming in under £1k.

cms206 Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Not yet, but I will wash it for the buyer!Speaking as the man who did that, I can confirm it's ideal for green laning and approximately GR73.6 for proper off roading. It also sounds the absolute tits. I still don't actually like 75s though so I am oot. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk Dave_Q 1
