Split_Pin Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 An Argenta!!! Graham Robson described this as "now thankfully dead" in his Cars of the 1980s book so if he hates it then that's a solid confirmation that it's platinum shite material. Lacquer Peel and mercrocker 2
danthecapriman Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Great spots. My fav though is the green Toyota Crown, lovely big old barge that would look much better on my drive!

Skizzer Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I have no clue how you manage to spot so much utterly prime chod. I mean, come on, THREE VICEROYS?

Jon Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Pfffffffffft. Where to start? The rest of us may as well not bother with a spotting thread, when there's one of this calibre. Excellent stuff - there's barely even any post 2001 plates in that last post, either!
mercrocker Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Top work, Agent Bramz, the world of chod owes you.....
bramz7 Posted September 7, 2016 Author Posted September 7, 2016 How old are these pics then? Those ones are from 2012/13. I seemed hellbent on going to London every other day back then, although having a girlfriend (at the time) who worked near Wimbledon certainly helped.
worldofceri Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 THIS is what this forum is about for me. Incredible spots. There's still some proper chod around That London mind you, but whenever I'm there I'm usually in a lorry so stopping to go and take photos is generally out of the question.
bramz7 Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 So I went back to Rome again, but this time, solo. Did I go there to see the sights? Naaaaaaaah. Mr_Bo11ox Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 Great spots!!!! That Fiat 127 wagon is fantastic but my favourite is the early Delta. You've done well there - whenever I've been to Italy it's been a SHITE DESERT.

worldofceri Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I really want a Ritmo. No idea why. How do you date 'em? Can you tell the age from Italian plates or do they have some sort of tax-disc style thing with a reg date on? Or is it an educated guesstimate?
Spottedlaurel Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Do like the ‘power’ bulge on the bonnet of the diesel Rekord/Carlton. And a Stellar in Rome?!
59Impala Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I recall seeing that circa 1968 Mazda with one set of headlights missing, that was in Eltham. I took my mum to the dentists just a few doors along and wandered back to have a look. Think someone did buy it and hopefully it'll return to the road.

barrett Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 That Matra is deeply desirable, despite the panel gaps. Just perfect. Loads of other great spots too, natch, ut that one really des it for me
Jon Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Brill updates, as usual. Personal favourites have to be the 1980 Panda and 1981 Delta, for the mega early design purity points. But, as worldofceri asked: How do you date 'em? Can you tell the age from Italian plates or do they have some sort of tax-disc style thing with a reg date on? Or is it an educated guesstimate? Come on, what's the secret! Please keep posting though, quality spot threads are one of my favourite bits of AS.
