Funnily enough, I did 6 months working away from home in Kent to Gomersal not for from you. 

Also very close to where I went to get the Carina. Four and a half hour drive back but I'd been doing it for months prior to knew the roads well enough.

It was the longest drive I've ever done in this car, 250 miles, no bother whatsoever. Classic A1 journey.

And...

Reckon the other wheel cylinder needs sorting at the back. Tyres are annoying, and maybe caused by recent alignment issue above.

Although living in 'reduced circumstances' the Mondy has had a parking upgrade, now off road in shaded spot. Better than on-road in the sun.

The old boy has been asked to stop driving now, so yes, it may come up for sale some time. Reg is M199NHN, 1st August reg, so bought as it changed to M.

Had 32k miles at last MOT, currently SORN'd. MOT history is good.

That is down the road from me, not seen it in years. Did wonder if still about.

In the mid to late 90s i done work experience at the local ford dealer neshams. One of the pair came in for a cambelt and i was helping/getting in the way when the tech was doing it. He actually give good advice, dont be a mechanic its shite😅

Nesham in Redcar, eventually closed and demolished, Kwik fit is on the same location now.

Knowing how delicate Mondy bumpers are, I would be hugely worried about its proximity to the wall behind.

Man, you won't believe this - but today, I scratched the rear bumper reversing into a wall in a different place. I'm too annoyed to post a photo. Just tiredness after moving to a new gaff. Hey ho, it's 'period correct'

One car, one bucket. Off to Lincolnshire l8r

Attending FoTU meant 100 mile drive down from Leeds to Lincolnshire, the A1 was a pain, but the Mondeo was flawless, and headed to an overnight stay on Friday in picturesque Folkingham (note the Moggy)

In the morning, just had 10 miles to go - and hit this mileage milestone - 66666

As posted in the FoTU thread - 5 MK1s in total appeared. Here's pics of three of the others.

(that last one is a dizzle!)

After another overnight, travelled back today, with no probs whatsoever.

Had a good time.

Mondeo briefly appears in this video.

Just remembered it helps a lot to use a back to black product on the lower grille.
