Well that was a surprise. Yes I have a 75 and my son wants to get rid of his Peugeot 405 and wants an estate , a Volvo v70 T5 apparently.But due to austerity measures, we are all in this together. He is going to have to make do with this fine conveyance. I shall PM you good sir and arrange collection . Has a nod to purplebargeken. Many years ago , in the days of crystals and lowies in St Helens. I drove one of Yellow cabs finest vw jettas and my radio call sign was Paul 24. It was always meant to be.

I may once have been to St Helens. Something about Glass I think. IF I remember correctly, I think my overriding impression was that it probably was not quite as shit as Widnes, Prescott, Wigan, Standish, and Orrell and 100 times nicer than Runcorn or Skem, but not nearly as nice as Ormskirk which is okay. But at least none of them is Manchester. or Salford.

isn't that bad really, compared to some places I've been , elephant and castle springs to mind or Towyn for that matter. Cheeky! My son is so joyfull * at the prospect of this that he is now frantically bidding on Volvo v70 T5's has we speak. My wife took the news really well and asked " I suppose that's going on the drive is it?" . We had to go to a meeting today in school and she spent most of it telling the teacher about my mid life crisis and buying shite cars. But the teacher won with. " you think you have problems ? My husband has just bought another drum kit for the dining room" I did ask if it was a Rover drum kit . But the irony was lost.

Well the rover has been collected. Sorry for lack of photos and such like. It was a pleasure to meet mr cavcraft and do business. My son drive back and has taken it home to clean and see what he can fix , or break. The last I seen of him was driving past me on Runcorn bridge with a big smile on his face. Who needs Volvo T5's when you can have a Rover.
