New year, new Alfa; contains GTV

This Arrived today....

 

A 2001 GTV Twinspark. Most sane people had probably been put off by the nigh on 200k on the clock. What attracted me was (I admit) a low price but also a huge service history including a full respray last year and a series of doting owners. Whether the last one got bored or became destitute is unclear, but I lost count of the bills, totalling several grand's worth. I have done little with it other than admire the styling and a short drive but it seems healthy enough; quite how long this will last is anyones guess, but for now all guages are in the happy zone and touch wood warning lights are noticable by their absence.

I loved looking out of the window at the one I had because it was such a good looking car. Just couldn't get comfortable in it, which was a real disappointment, as I'd wanted one for ages.

 

Top buying, though. Love the red trim.

I do like the GTV. I always wanted the V6 one until I sat in one. Another car built for small ish Italians. (I'm 6ft 6" and my knees were on the top of the dash).
