The his has been left with a broken passenger window for the best part of 3 weeks on my road. It was reported as abandoned and the police got in touch with the registered keepers family who apparently didn’t know where the car was. They came out and couldn’t get it started, RAC came out and for whatever reason left it there so it’s still here.

I've obviously been misjudging Stoke - I'd thought it would have been burnt out/pushed down the road/wee-ed in through the broken window by now. Are you 'connected' to some heavy people @Lankytim and this has extended some 'protection' to this unfortunate POS?

I can’t remember off hand, last I’d heard it got laid up in a field. It’ll be MOT exempt now, I’d love to see it back on the road. Not done professionally but keeping it in the spirit - really shit welding that’s patch over patch. Meets the bare minimum for the tester to give it the benefit of the doubt but we’d all know what was underneath that 3/4 of an inch of underseal.

I we-ed through the broken window to make a claim over it  and exert dominance over the local chavs.

This just appeared next door. Certainly qualifies under one meaning of dumped!

I suspect this was bought like this as they have form for flipping cars. For those struggling to read the bonnet (they were outside when I took this photo!) it says CHEATER.

A knock at my door this evening. The neighbour who I thought had bought it. "Do you know who's car that is?". Oh dear. Been out and took some better photos.

Between 4pm today and when they knocked, someone's had the plates off it. Fortunately from the original pic plus my memory we remembered the reg. Showing up as taxed and MOT'd. Rang 101 as didn't know if it was stolen, they're apparently attempting to contact the registered keeper.

Next door have multiple vehicles so its a pain in the arse for it to be parked there for them (although fortunately doesn't block access for either of us). Definitely don't recognise it as belonging to anyone up this end of the street.
