He probably used his 999 app, available from PoliceWitness.cunt.uk for only £500 or whatever.

I thought it was against the law to use a mobile phone whilst driving...

It happened on 6 occasions, so what`s that, a £360 fine ?

"If you’re the driver, you can only use your phone in a vehicle if you: need to call 999 or 112 in an emergency and it’s unsafe or impractical to stop"

Source: https://www.gov.uk/using-mobile-phones-when-driving-the-law

"You MUST NOT stop on the [...] hard shoulder [...] except in an emergency, or when told to do so by the police, traffic officers in uniform, an emergency sign or by flashing red light signals."

Source: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/motorways-253-to-273

Considering the minimal damage to his car and the fact that he only needed to call an ambulance after following the truck for who knows how many miles I think calling this an emergency is very questionable. So that's 18 penalty points and a fine between £600, and £1,000. He won't get either.

Footage shows Mr Stockdale stayed in the middle lane for some time, which motorists can be fined for, but he said he was about to move over when the lorry driver began to "intimidate" him.

Yeah of course he was. I'd like to see the 5 minutes or so leading up to this video. Why was he doing 45 in the middle lane with his hazard lights on?

Lorry driver was very much in the wrong in neglecting to crush that miserable excuse for a wankstain into the armco. I really can't understand how lorry drivers don't lose it regularly, lanehogging zombie twats are just everywhere, they truly are the best drivers on our roads by a huge margin.

Can't excuse the lorry driver if he did nudge into him on purpose.

I notice that nowhere that is hosting the video is accepting comments, I wanted to put my thoughts out there somewhere where this jizzmop driver would see them. No, the lorry driver wasn't right for using his truck as a battering ram but it's such a one-sided argument hopefully the police will see right through it.

I've just done 250 miles of motorway and probably about 20% of drivers understand what the lanes are for. And 95% of them are truckers.

I hear the trucker is no longer performing deliveries. Presume that means he has been sacked. What a twat this bloke is.

Regarding the speed, he was overtaking another truck, so I doubt he was only doing 40. But I reckon this is 100% a stitch up. Dash cam man realises he only has boring footage. Decides to provoke an attack to liven things up. COCK.

If you watch the vid the overtaking truck is catching up with Mr hogger and as he decides to pass you can quite clearly see the other truck in the slow lane also catching up behind Mr h.

If you want to drive that slow then get in the slow lane.

Can't stand this sort of behaviour going out of your way to piss someone off then grassing them up on some sort of website where like minded daily mail reading motorists exchange boring stories about getting cut up by lorries. Hopefully he'll have another exchange with the Armco to write about.

was on 3 Counties Radio this morning , the presenter asked him about 8 times if he denied either setting this up or at least escalating it to help promote his company

Anyone aware of any particular copyright issues with using clip converter to rip this to MP4 from 00:13 to 02.17 and then re-post it on YouTube on their own account under say "bell end middle lane hogger?"

Apparently there's a discrepancy with the timings on the video.

I'm sorry but this is disgusting. Yea ok the truck driver had not much of an excuse but how many times a day must a trucker endure this behaviour and now lost his job and probably his license. I've not drove a wagon but perhaps someone can clarify something for me,would it be tricky due to length of trailer to judge if the car is in th way or not,say for example the car sped up slightly? As for The driver, how can he be needed to go in ambulance if he managed to chase him? Why isn't he being done for intimidation and lane hogging. Causing obstruction even?

Yes it is that's why truckers flash at each other to let them know they are clear to pull back in.

It's clear there is more to this video.  Miles of it.

In the radio interiew he says

14 minutes later the same lorry tries to run me off the road again

Bub, if the lorry driver knows his stuff and has clean windows and mirrors he can judge quite accurately when he's clear, however this pillock lorryist fell right into twattox's little trap, once he's out in the third lane mr dashcunt drama queen has got him, i have no doubt queenie speeded up to keep the lorry out there once he was almost past to make some juicy footage, but he got more than he bargained for cos he picked on the wrong one this time.

I've had numb nuts's try to piss me off over the years, but i've been doing it too long and a vocational licence is a precious thing (its allowed me a bloody good living whilst being out and about) so i don't get into confrontations with them cos it can all go wrong, just like it has here for both of them.

My way of dealing with them is to simply hang back i drop into the inside lane and sit slightly back from their nsr, sooner or later they get impatient when you don't bite and piss off to find another victim, i never tailgate them nor flash lights nor blast the horn, thats what they are after a reaction and i will not give the cunts the satisfaction.

If you go to undertake them you're still in the wrong, then they can stay beside you and run you up the arse of another slower lorry, and again you've fed their need, who knows they might be having a swift five off the wrist at the perverse pleasure they get from this.

My Mrs reckons behaviour like queenie's is them exercising a little bit of power (special constable you say?), they may have inferiority issues and at home if any woman can stand the fucker she probably gives him GBH of the earole day and night and he's never been on the receiving end of a blow job, so sad is he that he has to go out and force others to do his bidding to give him that little bit of power thrill to make up for shortcomings, i dunno maybe she's onto something.

I'm 'nobody'... tooling along in a PugVan=W.V.M. ... however the 'cruise missiles'@68.99 outside on duals are a menace!

On 3lanes I tool up the inside lane @70... Pull out behind them... Pull over to the 3rd lane... pass... Pull In... sit in front of them for a bit... INDICATE left... pull into 1st lane then blatt away at 71!! Gosh!!

And, yep, not a pulse is evident.... :(

So I do t have to infect myself watching those videos does he have "that voice"? Sounds sort of posh but is actually a wanker, the" i pay your wages" kind of person.

Honestly I've spoken to people reporting similar things and all you do is pass out the other drivers details for observations and tell the other person to talk to their insurance or go to the station if they're injured, which of course they aren't as the car is still driving

I would love this to go to court and a sensible judge give the trucker a ticking of then do that camera fucker for hogging and driving to slow, he must have been doing 40 the speed that truck passes

grade one bellend and the trucker needs his eyes testing for not missing him by 0.01mm as planned

if it does go to court which it wont he'll be nailed for the 30 secs of the film at the start where THERES FUCK ALL ON THE LEFT YOU TWAT MOVE OVER

I care deeply for our community and that of Northants Police

For more than 7 years I worked with the instant response teams (IRT) responding to your 999 calls.

Alas following ill health in spring 2010 I resigned from Northants Police and put aside all other business interests whilst I recovered

But today

Unfortunately, despite six 999 calls to 3 different police force...  no help arrived

Mr Stockdale dialled 999 from his car phone, but was shocked when Northamptonshire Police told him their officers were busy chasing a stolen car.

He dialled 999 again and this time was put through to Thames Valley Police and a third time to Bedfordshire Police while he and the lorry travelled south on the M1.

After a further three failed emergency calls, Mr Stockdale decided to follow the lorry and was shocked when 14 minutes later it tried to run him off the road for a second time.

Mr Stockdale then followed the lorry to a WHSmith depot in Dunstable, Bedfordfshire, where an ambulance took him to hospital with a suspected pulmonary embolism.

This guy obviously has no consideration for other road users, and in fact seems to go out of his way to create what is potentially a dangerous situation.

In my opinion he should be charged with dangerous driving..............and then shot.

I hate this kind of stuff. Our localish paper loves dashcams and run a regular campaign for people to submit their photos of other people's "bad parking".

Awful. Its the no right to reply and no build up footage. Obviously you can't excuse the lorry driver for side swiping this guy but these little snippets of footage are soooo one sided.

Not long ago I was waiting to make a right turn out of a junction, not much coming from the right but a steady queue from the left. A guy starts to slow in the queue creating a gap, I try to make eye contact, a lady coming the other way slows to a stop to let me out, I look again at the guy still crawling along and he waves his hand across the windscreen, which I take as an invite to join in front of him. As soon as I start to cross the road he speeds up, beeps and slams on centimetres away from the front of my car, waving and shouting. I apologised a couple of times and then just carried on in front of him. He would not stop gesticulating so in the end I gave a thumbs up and a cheery wave.

Now I'm wondering if I'm due to appear in the Daily Post or already starring on YouTube. If he has a dashcam ii tt won't have caught him waving me out and he could easily cut the part where he leaves a gap.

Paranoid? Completely. But does make me wonder about some of these other clips.
