A certain white Sierra 2.0 Ghia auto will shortly begin the journey from it's home up North. The departing owner, a serial shiteist will hopefully chuck some piccies on here. The rest will follow.......

Thanks to JohnK and filthyjohn for their participation in this epic journey :)

That would only be better if it had dangly mirrors.

My 1.6L one had dangly mirrors. They weren't bad but I did lust after the body colour ones.

Look forward to seeing this once its down here, Ken. Just needs a repro front dealer plate in the same font as the rear, to finish it off really! Looks really good apart from that.

I like this car a lot and think it would make a nice addition to my fleet so come roffle time, I'll take a handful of randoms :-)

The Sierra is at FJ's place, all snug for the night. The epic Ford Travel Tale begins again at 07.00hrs :)

Initial reports from FJ are good with the Sierra running and driving nicely, although there seems to be some small issue with the drivers lock (no major problem as the car is lockable from the passenger side). Maybe it is scared by the thought of coming down South, who knows :)

I am sure it will be a fleeting Ford foible. Sleep well white Sierra.

Excellent stuff, I do like a good collection involving early starts and late nights.  I find it hard to believe that car could be from 1983, it could easily pass for 15 years newer.  Also, those are some of the best wheel trims ever, Mk1 Orion Ghia notwithstanding.

Good luck on tomorrow's journey.

I bet there was no 20p in the handbrake!

See you tomorrow John, Red or brown sauce?

Bring it on. This is your co-pilot speaking, we are just outside Durham now, the local time is early, if you look to your left you will see snow on the verges. Please relax and enjoy the journey. We know you have a choice in tat collection live blogs and we thank you for choosing Pinto Airways.

Just passed a modern Renault van on it's side. It's windy as. No pics sadly.

Aye I've noticed. She's a bit flighty.

I can't get any snaps of things outside the car due to the glare so here some superb upholstery and bonus tree.

There's one on the other door so I think so.

Passed the half way mark a little while back.

What the fuck happened? I know the wind was extreme last night but not enough to turn the British Isles upside down ?
