I am annoyed that I cannot assist.  A loan of the Corsa could have been organised for you but it has no PAS and while I don't particularly struggle with it I'm pretty sure you would.  I haven't go another vehicle I can loan and I haven't got the parts you need.  You deserve some decent luck for a bit.

Thanks fella. My first car was a corsa b 3 pot with no pas. While I coped ok with it I doubt I'd like to do it again. I did say to myself everything must have pas since then. Thanks for the offer though. It's greatly appreciated

Have you tried pricing a new sump? There's a Vauxhall breakers* by me who I bought a second hand Corsa sump from for £35, then I found out they were only £27 new  

 

 

*I'd honestly scrap my car and walk before using that yard again.

You buy sump and rad.  I collect from Brum on Friday.  FPB7/self bring bits to Heanor on Saturday and help fit same.  FPB7 reclaims BX of many shiters.  We all go for more Maccy Ds

AFAIK it's the same but you'd need to check for sure.plenty of Facebook pages with vauxhalls being broken

Busy, busy!  About to go into school governors' meeting.  Give you a shout later.  Meantime, phone the VXL breakers in Brum & Derby, see if they've got another sump etc.
