Pieman Posted December 6, 2025 Posted December 6, 2025 I won't give away the location on here, but it took me ages to realise that when I was working in Scotland for a weekend in 2024 I actually drove right past your yard on that dual carriageway without realising! If I'd known then where it was I'd have asked for a tour. Really pleased to hear you're getting the problems sorted out, keep the shite rolling in!

I still need to go collect a 504 estate from those old giffers at the speedway. I paid for it when I picked up the 505 last year or the year before but they seem to be a little slow in getting it ready to leave...

I have a few cars out there I've already paid for so continuing to get them on and gone before I have to tidy all of my cars away inside. Always had a fondness for the early shape p100s, never got on with the Sierra ones. 5x127 iirc, so Porsche wheels will go on... UltraWomble, Westbay and chaseracer 3
RetroShite Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Everyone loves a Rover! I bought these from the same place I got the Cortina pickup from, the Metro on 23k miles and the 420 on 53k. I'm still trying to run the stock down until I have access to the new unit and only have one more car I've paid for yet to arrive plus another 2 provisional purchases including an E36 325i manual and a Mercedes 500 SEC. angle, Coprolalia, RayMK and 9 others 12
RetroShite Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 We had a handful of winners in Scotland recently and people are quick to notice yet over the last year most vehicles were sent to England. Nullzwei, yes oui si, Stinkwheel and 5 others 8
yes oui si Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 That metro looks CLEAN. Tenmil Socket and Stinkwheel 2
Austin-Rover Posted December 11, 2025 Posted December 11, 2025 M Series engine is a rare thing in a 400! UltraWomble and Stinkwheel 2
RetroShite Posted December 12, 2025 Posted December 12, 2025 I'm considering whether to keep this one or not! 23k miles on the clock and in reasonably good condition, I know I'm unlikely to find a better one. Scruffy Bodger, chaseracer, Dan302 and 8 others 11

My dad had a D reg in dark brown with that grill (1.5 or 1.6 maybe) He loved it, it was built like a tank and always started first time in the middle of winter.

Mr Livered Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 I mean, it is rather lovely, I'd have a ticket

Pieman Posted December 13, 2025 Posted December 13, 2025 Wadham Stringer merged with Kenning Group in the late 80s and later became Inchcape Motors, I think. High Jetter and Wibble 1 1
RetroShite Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Another old grandad wagon arrived today! It's not bad to drive and for such a large car the 2.0 petrol engine is adequate. It's not going to win any races or beauty contests but I'm sure someone will love it. Schaefft, Macscrooge, Vantman and 19 others 22
loserone Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 That is pretty fit. I might even buy a ticket!

Zelandeth Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Wouldn't hurt my enjoyment of the car one bit. This is a GT cruiser rather than track weapon...or I'm just getting old and lazy!

RetroShite Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 Another bike arrived recently. I'm not really into "big" bikes but it was cheap enough to take a punt on. It's a tax and test exempt Kawasaki KZ 550. Seems to run fine and a lot faster than I'm used to! I'm sure someone will love it! Westbay, mk2_craig, grogee and 2 others 5
