Camping is on Sat 5th Sept, with show taking place on Sun 6th Sept.

 

We need to be on stand before 11am on Sunday- our club is HBF if anyone asks.

Most campers are there on the Sat night, a couple on Friday and one on Sunday.

I would suggest leaving the camp site around 08.30-9.00am latest to get to the castle on time. When arriving at the castle mention 'The HBF Club' and you should be directed to 'our' area. To be frank, quite often the organisation of the show is a bit hit/miss and we will probably just have to mob up and find our own area together, somewhere in the middle of the field.

 

*Edit: 8.3 miles/17 minutes 'twixt camp site and castle. Allow for probably 25 minutes due to traffic and local roads.

As THAT SPANISH BASTARD is deemed to be too new to enter the hallowed grounds, I am currently in negotiations with Mutha and Fatha_outlaw to borrow their P plate C250TD estate (preferred option) or bro' Nevs C43 (expensive option). If i'm reduced to bringing TSB, i'll change the plates on the approach road....nothing dodgy here officer....

It's possible I can drop the spare ticket down to the pub on Saturday, if anyone wants it. I should be coming past there on a bike ride so hopefully will be able to spare a couple of minutes if it all goes to plan.

Right, unfortunately things are conspiring against me attending this now, the 220SLi which I was going to go in is out on loan and the 940 will cost me a fortune in petrol (it's a 500 mile round trip from my home), plus the way things are I can't really afford the time right now so I'm out.
