I'm going to plan for the September one I think, May is Arley Hall which isn't as good IMHO.

Posted

I'll cover a lot of the Cheshire shows for work. Look for the scruffy bloke with the remains of an MG on his face.

Posted

Could do May, September is such a long wait and it's the end of summer (which is depressing).

Posted

Shitefest isn't far away, I know it's not like a normal show, but if you wanted to organise a trip to another show station I'm sure a few would turn up.

Cack tonnes of things happening in April \ May - the show season is just getting going again. Drive It Day is this Sunday, too. Whatever your thoughts about the FBHVC, there's loads going on.

I use http://www.classicshowsuk.co.uk as a good primer. Come and join me at Bicester Heritage if you fancy it.

Arley is a bit pants but Chodlymodleybodge was excellent. Unlikely to have anything for display sadly.

Totes up for Chumbley, last year was great.

I hope to be in attendance. This time, I will bring the crustiest chod I have, unwashed for months and park it in the arena, purely to claim my rally plaque, which will annoy the judges and car snobs, which I hope will provide entertainment for AS members.

Posted

If the Umm isn't ready for SF (I doubt it will be) then I'll bring it to Chumley :D

Posted

Well due to timing/money interface, it is this gathering I wish to attend in my 820E. I've got to make it happen.

Yes, not organised anything like this before but can buy tickets and send them out?

Posted

Seeing as the Stellar won't be ready for Shitefest I'd better bring it to this one! It'd be good to camp over beforehand, but I don't know if this is an option?

Drove past colmondeleyelely yesterday. Lots of cows.

Did you stop at the farm shop thing? It's about £1,100 for a slice of cake and can of pop.

I'm up for this, tentatively.  Will be in either the Renault or the Rover.  Or (for added anti-concourse LOLs) a well-used Discovery 1.

Posted

Ok, give me a day or two and I'll get it sorted and start a list of who fancies going.

Yeah, if it's on I'm in. I'll bring the Punto.

You'll bring the Gay Pride of ShiteFest, young man, and let's hear no more argument about it...

;)

I think Mat_the_cat camped somewhere nearby last year.

I don't think there's a campsite there, but sure to be one close by, will see what I can find out.
