I left for work this morning at 6:30 I have not long got home. I have had some medicinal whisky to get me off to sleep. Hopefully I can put in an appearance tomorrow afternoon. If not all the best, if I do hard luck.

I'm nearly ready to leave but am still waiting for the camera battery to charge!

 

Its now likely I'll be arriving in the early hours of the morning... If you've all gone to bed I'll do my best to part up without making too much noise!

Now that is a sensible thing to do, traffic should be light. Took me 9 friggin hours from South London due to the M40 mega problems earlier, although i did detour a bit heading west to Ludlow then up the A49, just to escape from the M-way congestion hotspots of the West Mids.

 

I'm now in my b&b downing a Poacher's Choice so should sleep well tonight, see you all again tomorrow!

Just got back, wasn't expecting so many people there, heading back down tomorrow, kipping at home as it was frigging BALTIC.

Work is finished! So now to Shitefest, leg 4 - hopefully on summat like this:

 

Leg 1 was a lift to the A64 in Mrs M'coli's Kia Picanto, leg 2 was from the A64 to work in a colleague's Fiesta ST, leg 3 from work to Leeds train station in another colleague's Aldi A3.

 

Hopefully the train will provide the opportunity to sleep...

Superb morning! Huge turnout, had a right laugh and even (extremely slowly) managed to bike up the Horsehoe pass. The 214 was a bit of a bastard heading to the meet, but an Italian tune-up on the way home saw it absolutely flying along.

I told the missus about shitefest and she says it sounds like a bunch of cavemen although I did explain that you don't actually kill the meat you eat with your bare hands, at least I don't think you do?
