Motorways will bore the shit out of you. Try A4123 to dudley then take road to Bridgnorth then the rabbit run to Telford, pick up the A5 from there to Shitefest.

How about m40, m42, m5 for 1 junction then a491 to Stourbridge, Bridgnorth then a458 to Shrewsbury, then pick the a5 up?

I'll just want to get there on Friday so will be motorways for me up to Telford then the A5.  We'll be doing plenty of scenic driving on Saturday.

Well, my plans are to arrive in Monmouth Friday afternoon then i think there's some kind of Cortina meet and convy/road trip on the Saturday and then Sunday it's the Cortina Day show at the Monmouthshire Showground before heading home again Monday.

 

It "might" be possible to come up on the Saturday but it's still a long way and as there's a number of us going in our cars from Ipswich i don't really want to be that one who buggers off all day and does his own thing!.
