I think we need a few more clues!  Where are you, do you prefer manual or automatic, do you need to carry loads or passengers, how big an engine do you like...?

What kind of ISUZU engine would you like in your 1.5TD Corsa, sir?

I've an open mind, was looking @ 4.0 jags and 1.0 micra, missed a couple of cars because I couldn't move quick enough. Manual /  Auto not fussed. only thing that i 'want' is a decent MOT.

based in Midlands, but can travel, train, cycle etc

Budget?

One Grand, jag to a Micra - worlds your oyster mate - millions of em out there for that!

Thats been my max budget for a car ever! Apart from a Cossie Cortina I bought three years ago, all the other 70 odd others have been well below that figure.

Bait up your line and go fishing my lad!

I'd have a right 200 quid shitter to put next to the herald, but the wife has different ideas.

I keep looking @ 600 max but will go to 1k for the right car.

Buy a 4.0 Jag. Enjoy, break, repair, repeat until you're sick of it, then give it to me.

1k?

Buy a gleaming, polished, giffer spec 2.5 V6 Rover 75 Club in that wonderful bottle green pearl, with beige velour and not a stain on the carpet, and blow the remaining 850 quid on

OMGCAMBLTCHNG and OMGHGF.

Alternatively, buy a tatty Buick Regal koop, or Oldmansmobile Gutless, and drive it happily ever after.

Have you seen John's Omega on here. Looks really nice and 12 months ticket.

I find Japanese cars irritating. But that's just me, I guess.

Japanese cars find YOU irritating.

02 plate Pug 306 2.0 manual convertible - 24k miles, two owner, fsh - needs the torn hood swapped over for the good one in my garage - MoT till October. £900 or £1000 with hardtop. Folder with all history, timing belt at 17k IIRC. Hood function is perfect but hood frame broken, and hood torn, hence why it needs the replacement in the garage.

How about a nice little renault 5 I will chuck 12 months mot on it for £650 (it currently has until july)

Bit of hijack but Has anyone got a small (size wise) auto for sale for under £300? Bigger the engine the better.

Civic is at a point where potentially need to spend £200 or so on it so would prefer to get something else if possible.

Don't these threads usually end after ten pages of offers and then the original poster buying something off eBay/gumtree? Lol
