When can we expect you?

Is that not a red rag to a Bo11ox?

What we have learned so far is that mr 6cyl shouldn’t be allowed out on his own unsupervised with money but that Mrs 6cyl doesn’t exactly try and stop him. They’re a good match!

Only if she likes what she sees

Imagine the backhander if she not like

Lets keep in touch!!!

You would never run out of cars to fix for sure!

Yesterday I found myself drafting a PM to own the Allegro VP and had to have strong words with myself. Mrs6C is not helping by chipping in that she had found a place who will recon the gearbox for £400!

This thread is epic and fascinating. However, it has made me feel that I really ought to own and experience more cars. I can feel a fleet shuffle coming on in the new year....

It is supposed to be a warning to others not to catch the disease and not an encouragement!

Also helps if your career was based on buying/selling cars!

Having said to HMC it was my turn to test the reliability of a TD6 Range Rover things did not go well.

To start with it needed a jump start.

Then on the way home the dreaded warning message came up.

It still runs and is not sat down but its next run in the new year will to be a garage.

^^^ Air suspension inactive - TADTS when the battery has been lacking sufficient volts... reset it by (when stationary and on suitable surface) turning the steering wheel full lock to the left and holding for a few seconds, then turning it to the right on full lock and holding for a few seconds, then go back to centre, switch off and back on again.

I will give it a go tomorrow.

Last time it was a position arm that had broken and was not sending messages to the brain so I got that message

Should have added that wheels should be in straight ahead position before you switch on and start the above reset procedure...

I remember that position arm. Wasn't it about the size of a small kebab skewer and composed mostly of rust?

The arm was rusty, but it was the plastic part of it that had broken.

Sounds like the xeon levelling arm on my first laguna. I cable tied it on in the end and it just popped a ball joint off somewhere else so I left it in the end!

I have done the procedure and no change so it has been sent to the naughty corner.

Add - 2 broken 5 working and in the garage 1 broken 1 working.

I must say that  I am impressed with the way in which the 6Cs appear to only communicate with each other by means of AS posts; a recipe for the perfect marriage, I am sure :)

I think the phrase is 'not on the road at present'... as some just don't have MOT and/or tax currently... which is fine...
