Ah no problem, I appreciate that your willing to try and help sort REV for me , you might also want to bring a Jack along, as the fuel tank is dropped from underneath the car details are on Page 65 as marked on the sheets or Page 82 according to the PDF viewer! there is an index at the start if you find yourself needing to know something else and im not around (as well as a diagram showing jacking points ) heres also the relevant pages screenshotted (NB, REV has a slightly different type of tank fitted, to improve frontal crash resistance, but the general idea is the same)

richardmorris Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 If I need to jack up the front where’s the best place to put the jack? My jack in the boot is two tonne capable, so expect it will be ok.

richardmorris Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Ok. If i get chance I’ll give it a go. Looks to be about 15 degrees warmer than the last time i was there! LightBulbFun and Wingz123 2

Because its not a good trailer (we borrowed the smashed light fitting from the trailer board to make a test lamp for cx fettling) but it rolls and bounces well

richardmorris Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Some cx life - well it fires, but won’t run. Power to the main injector but not the rail. I’m sick to death of relays! Oddly we then had the very same issue with the RR. Then it got cold and dark, so I’m now at home waiting for the oven to heat up for dinner. Im very sorry mr light bulb, but I couldn’t get to the invacar to drop the tank. I had the big toolkit, but time and a soggy approach to the main field were against us. Field of dreams now has a growing collection of invacars and bits! nice to meet up with folk again. LightBulbFun, Mrs6C, Wingz123 and 3 others 6
beko1987 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 The CX tried to run, but bless it it could not. @richardmorris@richardmorris and Andy chased the injector wiring back and it was sound until we got to the front rh relays then it just stopped, moving relays about moved clicking but still no dice VID_20200202_130326.mp4 richardmorris, Mrs6C, stonedagain and 2 others 4 1
