Aye, 1.4. I bought one of those at auction myself. The "knacked turbo" on my one was a split boost pipe. About £40 IIRC. Went well after I fixed that.

I'm sure it was a 1.6 when I did an online check. It may, or may not, do over 70mph in third. Possibly.

Edit: yep, 1560cc.

I'm hoping it won't be mine for long enough to care!

Hopefully it will be yours just long enough to receive some 'swap 2nite 4 half a wooden leg and a melted Curlywurly' type offers for you to entertain us with.

And then sell for a tidy profit OBVS.

Does this use the PSA 1.6 hdi engine? Tick tick BOOM!! Looks nice though. What's the story behind your newest purchase?

Explains why I've no seen any Stevie Wonder tours advertised recently..

That fiesta is very smart. Still think of that shape as new but I seen a 52 reg one other day.

My 1.6TDCI pulled very nicely too. Well, was pulled. By an AA van.

I cannot keep track anymore.

If this continues he will be looking for a yard, bunting and a portacabin.

It says TDCi on the back, as well as Zetec. Anyhow, it seems to have faired quite well at the test: Picked it up earlier, advisories were only something like two slightly white coloured indicators, high view rear brake light bulb and slightly corroded rear springs.

My daughter fancies it but I think the insurance will be too much, so I'll see what the going price is for these and bang it up for sale.

I'd have thought it would fetch between 1.5 and 2k easy enough. Desirable spec and engine.

The higher end valuation would be nice!

Taxed it today, £30 for 12 months. I've also spent the best part of an hour trying to figure out how to turn the (expensive, snazzy) aftermarket CD player radio on. I gave up in the end and reverted to the manual. I now have Radio 2, happy days.

I hope you've set every preset to Radio 2 so your next young customer can enjoy* Steve Wright all the way home.

I'd have thought it would be worth a swap for an Astra Coupe with a desirable spec and engine.

Just organised a leveller for a 2007 Corsa D that 'had one or two scratches but nothing major.'  Luckily, it wasn't too far away as the 'one or two scratches' were indeed present, any others must have been masked when whoever had paid for the accident damage to be sorted asked at the body shop.  The paint looked a bit 'odd' in places, the o/s/f wing was rusty (insert own 'all Vauxhalls are shit thing here) and the passenger door was previously red, not silver like the rest of the car.

Oh, I have, of course, been asked about service history on a £225 Astra.

Just to reaffirm that the world is full of wankers, have you had some prick waste an hour of your life to say 'it's not really giving me the right messages".

I had that on a £300 Alfasud Ti 20 years ago. I shall never forget it.

Just the usual ones, who ask questions then don't respond when you've answered them. Sometimes I just don't even bother replying at all if I decide I don't like the way they put questions.

Billy's latest Astra was blue

But he bought it covered in poo

He gave it a clean

A tidy machine

The buyer was the first one to view!
