Even I reject some motors. This is the only picture I took, from a car with a slightly leaking brake cylinder but car in daily use. No brakes at all no sign of leaking cylinder and this..

and, yes, that is what you think it is.

Social media has come up trumps again, this time in the shape of a genuine (and LATE REG MADNESS) Autoshite car. I'm off to view it later, almost certainly cannot afford it though, but I'll post the details up on here in case anyone else wants it.

Also had a very interesting swap suggestion for the Cavalier, for something with only half the amount of wheels, staying quiet on that though in case I jinx it!

A Reliant robin with a wheel missing is a great swap

So, someone emptied the contents of a marshmallow factory into the top of whatever. Nice touch. Sweet snack and drive, bonus.

Yep, tin foil. It defied belief someone would do that, even in an emergency it seems madness.

Silly question I know, (especially as you are one of lifes thin healthy people) but is there enough room for a fat knacker like me in a shorty Frontera?

It's not your body size that would be the problem, but your eyesight.

You'd fit in one ok though, chief.

Considerably cheaper! Just whanged a deposit down on it, collect tomorrow. All of about 2.7 miles from mine, so more 'business miles' on my push bike to collect.

I bought an 05 plate clio identical to that from carcraft back in 2009. People took the piss out of me because I was paying nine grand on sub prime finance for it.

I bought one of those brand new in 2004, mine cost £8500, i hope yours is cheaper.

The one I bought was £10k. Was a nice car, but cost nearly seven grand in depreciation over five years.

Decent wee cars to drive those wee Clios, decent on fuel, nippy, chukable and handle pretty well.

I paid £5k for an 04 plate 1.2 Dynamique in 2007.

What spec is this one? If its a Dynamique its had a front ender as they had a different bumper from 53 plate, if its an Extreme or something that's the correct bumper, they oddly fitted the later Dynamique front bumper to 04 and 54 Extremes then went back to the pre-53 plate bumper on the Extremes made after that.

not often you see the word "Clio" and "Extreme" in the same sentence

Less often do you see 'Cavcraft' and '2005' in the same universe.

I fear that Billy will not be gracing this forum for much longer due to his lofty modern car selling aspirations. Sad times :(

The only way out of this spiral of misery would be for him to have purchased the Clio for less that 250 quid due to it being a Cat Z write off.

Can I have some more details on this when it arrives? I *may* have a proposition.

It is the 'Extreme' model, will post details (much) later on when I've collected it.

No, that's still (very slowly) going on. He was coming today (from your county town) then he couldn't get a van, so it's dragging on a bit now. I've no time tomorrow, Saturday and probably Sunday, so he's running out of options now. I'm not confident enough to meet half way and then ride it back, I'd rather break myself in whizzing it round locally getting used to it. It's probably not that fast, as such, but the last bike I rode was wheezier than an asthmatic, two legged tortoise with a ton of sand on it's back trying to climb up windy hill.

Little 'clonky' over some speed bumps, heater doesn't work and there's no spare wheel, but I'll sort that as I have one here I think.
