Doing this as stuff I've driven so far this year, that excludes my suzuki as it's not moved this year and has no seats

My daily driver that never seems to go wrong, well apart from that broken bonnet hinge and it needing an inner wing

My daily drive is the Cherry of many shitters, it's getting hosed down pretty regularly during the salty season so will hopefully survive OK.

The family bus and Ms C's daily is the ex DW Discovery which is behaving itself fairly well at the moment. It could do with a service if I can manage to not fill a weekend with work or drinking at some point soon.

I've not driven my other two yet this year (or for some time really). Plenty of other stuff though, the Vito I'm fixing must count as Shite likewise a customers E39 shape 525. Most of the others are Wicked van hires varied fleet, the oldest of which is a 12 plate Tourneo. Nearest to counting are probably the Altos simply for the novelty factor of how cheap they are, surprisingly good to drive though. I had great fun keeping up with the boss while delivering one to a customer.

Shit for sale that ain't moving:14275551178_3a4c568969_o.jpg

For Sale you say??? tell me more..... :-D

Honestly Matt, I wouldn't recommend it. It does need some work to it. Nothing major but it does need some concentrated work and patience, non of which I have any longer.

Thanks for that LS, I'll give it a miss for the moment, I might be tempted if the disco goes quite soon. I've always loved those coupes and with lpg that makes it full of win. Are the rattle canned bits really that bad?

I haven't actually used any of mine so far this year but they are all road legal so I can if I want! It's just the sodding road salt that puts me off!

Fleet as of yesterday-

post-4673-0-58252200-1421610613_thumb.jpg

A6 tdi 130pd, cheap to buy and run, Soulless but dependable. Just turned over 244,000 the other day. and went stright through this month's MOT so in my good books.

Ex bollox/sixcylinder/phil_lip/Robt Rover 220 SLi. Looks unassuming but lightish body and bigish engine mean its fairly rapid and a hoot to drive.

Rover p4 110. Currently beached in my garage with brakes and cooling system in bits.

Here's the working fleet at the moment.

Land Rover is my daily driver, Panda is my wife's, 205 is a friend's - quite often store stuff here for friends as plenty of space. It used to be mine and has gone through the hands of two other mates since, gaining a 1.9 intercooled donk from a 306. I mentioned it might be for sale on here but think it might stay as I used it last week and loved it...

post-3736-0-60680800-1421613105_thumb.jpg

...however it went back to my mate a couple of days ago, with him leaving his Landy here, but then reappeared in the early hours as it had spunked all of it's coolant out within five miles. Suspect it had frozen up, he's gonna come over and investigate this week

I also have a Range Rover Classic that is all tucked up and awaiting some TLC.

Mk 6 Escort, mostly exploded

52 plate Citroen Picasso, which I hate more than I hate Gary Wilmot

I'm not posting pictures of either of them. I hate the escort for breaking down when I needed reliability and I hate the Citroen because I'm forced to drive it because that fucking Escort broke down. Cunts, the pair of them.

It's probably just as well I no longer work with firearms.

It's probably about time I did a brief fleet update, although none of my recent purchases are particularly interesting (MGB aside).

This is my latest van.  I've had it for a while now but never formally introduced it before.  Contrary to appearances, it's actually a Peugeot Boxer.  It's the lowest spec version, with a 2-litre HDI 90 engine.  It actually goes adequately well, but it feels rather gutless after the 2.8 JTD Ducato I had before.  This is my fourth one of these vans (I rather like them), and the first not to have any gearbox issues.  It's also my first ever van with electric windows and remote locking.

post-190-0-45703300-1421619659_thumb.jpg

This is the Forester.  It's a Jap import, so somewhat more potent than the UK turbo (about 230 bhp vs 177), although like most JDM cars it's automatic.  It's a bit of an odd thing to drive - like an Impreza on stilts, although it corners far better than any other "soft-roader" I've driven, and obviously it goes like the clappers in a straight line.  The exhaust is blowing from the downpipe which will need sorting, and it also has a crack in the passenger side of the windscreen which has got bigger with the frost and might be an issue for the next MOT.  It could do with a service too - I'll do the oil and filters myself, but I might get the garage to do the plugs when they weld up the exhaust, as none of my plug spanners will get in there.

This is my ungrateful bitch of a diesel Mondeo, which now needs a new rear spring before it can be driven in anger.  It was only 200 quid though, so I don't really begrudge having to spend a bit more on it.

post-190-0-14869500-1421620213_thumb.jpg

And finally my latest purchase, which I picked up yesterday.  It's a Stilo Active, which I think is the base model - it has keep fit rear windows and no aircon.  It does have a few useful bits though, like a speed limiter (although it doesn't actually limit the speed, just bleeps at you and flashes up a warning on the dash if you go over it).  It's the 1242cc engine, which isn't much for a car this size, but it has a 6-speed 'box which helps.

This is only the second six-speed car I've owned (not counting older cars with overdrive and the CVT Primera which had a 6-speed manual override), and it's very different to the Laguna, on which 6th was very much an overdrive for motorway cruising.  On the Fiat, 70 in 6th is about 3,000 revs, so defo not an overdrive - the gears are very close together, to try and make the most of the engine's lack of torque.  It drives well enough, and feels rather better put together than its Bravo / Brava predecessors.  The throttle response is rather inconsistant though - it's hyper-sensitive near the top of its travel, which means a delicate right foot is needed in heavy traffic.  I don't know if this is a fault or a characteristic of these cars.

I'm still not quite sure why I bought it, but so far I don't regret doing so...

What is the ng 9-5 like ?

It's great, huge but agile, and lovely to look at. Detailing gets a bit low rent in places inside though. First Saab so I can't compare with the earlier cars but I love it.

just this one so far this year, the others will be back on the road once the weather pick up

Love this, looks very clean too and with all the snow!

This year I are mostly been driving Morrisssess.   Minor daily, fuck the salt it needs welding every year somewhere anyway.   Cowley to and from storage and home for fettling sessions when its dry and I am off work.  Which isn't often.   T25 has been around the farmyard once since Christmas (its SORNed until I need it again).   190E is Mrs Rockers chariot and as such is out every day, currently the mileometer is getting itself ready to tick over to 100,000.    The Oxford referred to in my signature is gone now.

The two I've driven this year are:

The Somerset. Made it up to the Lake District, where it then proceeded to break down several times. In the end I had to call my breakdown cover and get them to take me all the way back to my digs in Kent, where it was dumped on the driveway in disgrace. It's still sitting there now, two weeks later. I've got the distributor off the Cambridge and all the bits to make up some new HT leads for it, so I'm hoping it will be running again this week.

The Maestro. My reliable daily car, which is currently notching up 150 miles a week going from Kent to Essex and back. Despite my best efforts to keep it clean, the fragile Austin-Rover bodywork is starting to suffer in places from all this road salt.

I also took the Atlantic around the block a few times before it left to join the Automobile's fleet. And I got to drive an SE6 Scimitar. That was fun.

Just one.

Also SWMBOs Panda Diesel but you can't have a picture of that. So there.

Not mine, but I do have these bad boys to play with as well:

Just the one for me at the moment, I tried flirting with a fleet last year but I am completely renovating our house and its costing £££££ so realistically at at the moment I can only keep one on the road, I have a Clio Williams in the garage but thats a bit like my house and needs a fair bit of work. My missus has a new yaris which does everything fine but is pretty coma inducing.

I am rocking a st170 at the moment, and at the start I wasn't really a fan but its growing on me, it handles ace, has a nice turn of speed when its wound up, its comfy and can be quite relaxed with the 6 speed box, has some nice touches like working aircon, a heated screen and the stereo is mega. Was cheap but they're like £280 a year to tax and your very very lucky if it gets 30mpg.
