Unlikely Cars That Share Parts

What cars do you know that share parts with cars that are radically different or where you wouldn't expect to find shared parts?  I'll kick off with the Aston Martin DB7 that shares taillamps with the Mazda 323 and interior door handles with the first generation MX-5.

DeLorean has everybody's parts.

S1 Disco had Monty rear lights. One old  land rover had Rolls Royce sides and blinkers.

Various Lotus with interior door handles from Maxis, was it, or Marinas? Perhaps they were the same. CX Mk2 door mirrors for TVRs. Citroen gearboxes went into Lotus and Maseratis.

The Rover 400 lights were used on some supercar; I can't remember which, though.

924/944 has suspension - torsion beam, trailing arms and wobble struts from a VW 1303.

And door handles.

That bloody ugly Metrocab that had mk2 Granada front grill/lights and mk3 Escort estate rear lights.

And the London Taxi FX4 that had Austin/Morris 1100 mk2 rear lights. Which looked good.

'Boy, should I get out more....

Jensen Interceptor has Maserati Sebring door handles, which doesn't help much if you need them.

The 1959 Cadillac was designed around the 1959 Buick front doors.

CX door mirrors went on all sorts of things, including the Esprit after the Peter Stevens restyle.

Aston rear lights are always out of someone else's parts bin:  The early 90s Vantage ones were from a mk2 Scirocco, and I believe the William Towns DBS/V8 ones are off a Hillman Hunter of all things.

Edit:  Yeah yeah, I meant Virage not Vantage.

I think (cos I had one) Marina had a Toledo gearbox (early rwd)?  And they shared the diff with the TR7?

VW Shitrocco and Aston-Martin Virage rear lamps.

Rover R8 lights were on the Jaguar XJ 220

TVR Griffith (90s) used upside-down MkIII Cavalier tail-lights, the Chimaera MkIII Fiesta jobs.

The cost of plastic engineering seemed to be too high for most small volume makers.....Look at the tail lamp shite that graced Bristol cars, from Hillman Super MInx to Vauxhall Senator.   Ban the bomb Corty units went on to TVR Granturas (original one) and the Unipower Mini had HA Viva units...

I know it's only rear lamps, but still an unlikely combination...

Rolls Silver Spirit headlamps used on Leyland Royal Tiger Doyen coach,

Lister Storm had Audi 80 rear lights.

Ford Ka was built exclusively from steel dredged up from the Torrey Canyon.

I think it's heritage qualifies it as shite:
