The Reliant is a 1959ish Regal MKV, distinguishable from the MVI by its shallower windscreen, short gutter and separate winkers and sidelights, but otherwise very similar to my '61 MKVI pictured in black and white (as near as I could get it) - it's still in my garage in roadworthy condition.

My dad had a Mk VI. You really can get four adults, two kids and a dog in one, and get from Sheffield to Blackpool and back in a day only overheating once *.

Oohh, that looks like one of Sheffield Omnibus Committees' (the C fleet) Burlingham bodied L1 Leopards on the 48, Sheffield to Manchester service (but probably isn't).

Tried Google Image search, apparently this is similar.

Slightly battered old Triumph.

Looks like it has a Manchester coded "limited use" trade plate which was white on red.  I don't know when they were phased out or indeed why they were limited compared to the more common "General Use" red on white ones.

I wonder if there were any jokes about the driver thinking he was on the Metropolitan line!?

Vauxhall small hatchback prototype, a sort of Chevette predecessor.  I think I've seen those photos on Vauxpedia.

This looks like a staged publicity photo for the RAC. Not Lambretta.
