Rover 45 auto's? Pre-facelift. Ex-boss is selling his 2 owner from new car. Taxed and MOT'd for £200 and is as original as an original thing. No HGF either. Has heated front seats and A/C - cor!

 

Former colleague with the 75 has become oddly quiet.

Is it a 2.0 KV6 with the proper Auto or 1.8 K16 with the CVT?

 

£200 seems like a decent price to me.

avoid cvt. otherwise fine if a little dull. I sold mine as it was too boring.

It's a £200 car, the worse that could happen is that you lose £100 when you scrap it.

For £200 with T & T if it starts goes and stops it's a no brainer I'd have thought. Use it till it dies of HGF or the autobox goes bang or the ash trays are full then weigh it in if it won't sell.
I can well imagine that'll be a nice comfy little car for poodling about town in, I would.

Bloody tempted but also lusting after the waftiness of the 75. Mind you, compared to this 45, the 75 is a mobile dung heap.

Why avoid CVT? I've driven a 200 CVT bubble with over 100k miles on it. Was a bonny thing and hilarious to drive.
