My girlfriend's boy got suckered by one of these dodgy sites to apply for his driving license. They are pretty convincing and I did a bit of research and the government are trying to clamp down on them but they are legal at the moment. Cost him an extra 40 quid but at least he did get his license rather than a filled in form to post off with the fee like some people have had

A couple of weeks ago ,I couldn't get a decent mobile signal to pay online so phoned home and asked my daughter to do it. Sure enough the first and most official hit on google for 'Pay congestion charge' was some dodgy fuckers who charged £12. They did actually pay it ,but it still pissed me off. I phoned TFL to check it had been paid and they said that the particular site normally paid 2/300 every evening. So that's £5/600 every day with the only cost being a Google listing.
