Price of alloy must have gone up again.

What a quaint old fashioned sight,I've not seen anything like it since about 18 months ago when some pikey feckers did me a swap for some 18"mv2's on a 330ci I had . Although they weren't quite as old school in that they used breeze blocks.

I think the Police can eliminate Luxobarges R US out of their enquiries as there isn't a fuggin 26 page thread about removing C Class wheels on here.

Whereabouts in St. Helens?

Am thinking:

Haydock, St. Helens Junction, Clock Face or................ Thatto Heath.

It's probably a combination of the camera angle and the lack of any oversize wheel trims on this car that my attention is drawn to just how solidly brick-like ('scuse me) these Mercs are. Never noticed it before.

Looking at the discs, I'd say the thieves have legged it a month or two ago....

Looks like they have swiped the disabled badge as well. unless of course it is some kind of 'punishment theft'  carried out by the local mobility scooter massive.

Is it possible it had desirable alloys fitted - AMG on these, right?

Arches look ok for once.

Last time I saw this was on a blue MGF in about 2000. It wasn't even on bricks, it was resting on it's discs. They took three and must've been disturbed on the last one. It looked horrible!

I did wonder if the raspberry vigilantes had struck back

Britains underclass at it again, sold the alloys for gear then off to sign on before work.
