It was sold last August at ACA for £7100.

Prices are rising but you can still get a good M635 for that kind of wedge.

By the standards of this forum it's cheaper than buying new, so who cares if the car doesn't stop? I'VE SPENT LESS THAN YOU AREN'T I CLEVER.

This bloke has had this not-quite-immaculate Leganza interior up for sale for several months now.  The law of supply and demand would suggest to me that a used boggo-spec Leganza interior would be worth about £0.37.  The seller doesn't seem to have figured out that there's more chance of me getting to do Pippa Middleton up the tradesman's than someone forking out a ton for his crappy velour seats.

This car is has had a current advert on Car & Classic for 6 YEARS, seller has added another grand to the price, now £13995

How this bloke has not been sectioned is beyond me

This is not a new spot, but being a dyed in the wool Monza enthusiast keeps irritating me. Has this loon jacked the price up again? It was once six grand (about 2 years ago), then wasn't it twelve grand, has he now added another k?

Has anyone approached this dude, have a backstory, or can explain the psychological game he's playing?

,my love affair with this little car started in a little French village called sans sulphice lauriere,It was love at first sight,I just had to have it .

A love affair so deep that you took the sales pictures whilst on the crossing back from France and are almost definitely selling it for OMGPROFIT.

Oh yes this is what the Ebay bargains thread is all about, this low mileage festa £10,000 GBP. Possibly had a shit spray paint job as I am sure the filler caps are black on these, not painted blue?

How bloody much?! That makes the £2500 one higher up the page seem like an actual bargain. There must be too many zeroes or has the OMGOSF tax reached such ludicrous levels? If only I still had mine, I'd be rich, rich I tells thee!

And he says that's not even the actual car in the photo. If you're going to ask that much at least get some photos of it first FFS.

what is it with some peoples.

Take one pair of 40 year old strommies.

Rattle can them silver

Advertise them as "in excellent condition" and photograph them with all the over spray in the background.

Then slap them on the bay at 10 times what they are now worth because you rattle canned them.

No, smart arse, let's not be skinflints when it comes to the brakes of our cars, eh?

I don't care how recent scrapyard pads are, how much of a tight arse must you be not to get pads new? They're not expensive, even for Vauxhalls. Or Skodas. Or Xantias.

Better to spend it on a personalised plate, what? Them pennies don't rub themselves together you know!

This particular AS mentality astounds me. that bloke I bought my 480 from was obviously a keen subscriber - he decided to replace the front brake pads ON ONE SIDE. He must have been really confused by the other pad that came in the box and probably thought the scrapyard \ parts place was trying to rip him off when they insisted he buy two.

I'd just about consider scrap yard calipers if I couldn't get new calipers elsewhere \ the ones on the car were toast- but they'd be the last option.

I'm sorry, but you don't buy safety critical parts from a scrapyard. Not ever.

Ever.

Nothing wrong with scrapyard calipers fitted with new oe seals and where rusty, pitted, pistons are replaced with non rusty. :D

But when new is cheaper i must admit i tend to go new, ;)

Er, quite. But that's technically a recon caliper by that point, Shirley?
