Old indian guy just collected Estima.

On train from Leicester,Swore blind he was £25 short and hoped it was ok.

Not a lot i can do,by the time ebay has had their share + listing fees i would have been better off breaking it.

At least it has gone i suppose.

I would have hoped he didn't have enough to get the train home the cheeky twat.

I'd have said no fucking sale! No it's not bloody OK. Would he go to the supermarket to do his shopping and offer £25 less than the final bill and expect to be taking it all home? No. Cheeky bastard

Wonder what would have happened if you'd said the price has now gone up £50 since you got to the station and you hope that's ok with him,

This happened to my friend that sold the beemer 528 I put on here a couple of days ago.

A chap gets in touch from the gumtree ad, agrees on £500 comes over and says he's only got £450 on him, my mate says "tuff, we agreed on £500 so it's that or nothing" the chap suddenly finds another £50 in his pocket and then starts whingeing that he's got no money to put petrol in it, he gets the same answer "tuff, did you expect a full tank of fuel with it? take it or leave it"

Where are all these idiots coming from?

Indeed. Not had anyone try that with me but they'd get they're marching orders from me. You don't agree a price and then not pay it!

Posted

He'd have got a choice of destinations from me: cashpoint or station.

Absolutely. I quite often like chancers who try this on to be honest, as they can either go back home without the goods or cough the agreed price. It's not my train/petrol/taxi/bus fare they've wasted, it's their own.

I'd have told him to do one as well, cheeky twat.

Still, at least you got rid of it Dave, that's the important thing.

Got my ebay bill today, another £30.00

So it actually sold for grand sum of £390.00

Thats with £60.00 of tax on it as well.

Wish i had broken it.

Still i needed it gone,at least i can park in hospital car park when i get aerodeck.

Dave, when he tried it on you should have taken the rent off the screen and asked him how he was going to get it home...
