Welcome, nice collection of cars (not keen on the PT personally) but that Rebel pick up is awesome!

ive not done them to make money, done it for a hobby and to learn and to keep me of the streets and out of trouble.

The PT Cruiser hurt my eyes, but that's a pretty strong line-up otherwise! Great to see more Rebels.

That F-Bird once belonged to the US-Car Club UK secretary.

Shy fella? Big penis?

Welcome in fella. Those rebels are amazing!

Not a fan of the modern American stuff with pictures on, but the rest of the fleet is fully approved.

Great compilation there. Welcome too. Where abouts are you as a mate of mine may be interested in the rebel. I am more a fan of the three wheeled variety!

yes its a 68 eldorado 7.7 litre sold it about 2 years ago

and i am in the manchester area.

the orange rebel is a project

its a good rolling chassis with good breaks which are recently new by previous owner and adjustable front coils which are also recently new. the shell is abit rippley down the sides and does have bog in it. chassis is mint.

interior needs seats fitting they are out of a mini, could do with carpets as it rains in and is wet but bonus the shell is fibreglass and wont rust.

it needs an engine and gearbox then all the other little bits and pieces like wiring clutch rod etc prop radiator, exhaust.. i do have 2 morris minor engines and a gearbox that i will throw in. i am unsure of the condition but was told 1 of them ran fine with the gearbox, but it needs a clutch. and a few other things before it can run

what ever engine goes in next it will need work for them to go in, wouldnt be a case of dropping it in than thats it.

it did have the engine and gearbox that is in my grey 1 previous which is a morris minor 1098 with ford type 9 gearbox, so it has had abit of the bulk head cut out on both sides for them to go in,

wheels do not come with the car, will have a set of steel wheels on it.

£500 with the 2 engines and gearbox

£400 with out the 2 engine and gearbox.

Those later Corvairs are a beautiful, balanced clean design. Where did it all go wrong?

Hey those rebels are nice. Your dads car is smart too.

Any pics of the DAF 44? Was it yours?

Posted

The PMT Loser is utterly unforgiveable and the orange Reliant isn't far behind, but you have completely redeemed yourself with the Lambretta, and everyone knows CG125s are the ride of champions.

Welcome along!

Thank you ill direct him to this forum. Sounds a good price for the motor.

Welcome sir, most of the cars are pretty nice and your taste in motorbikes is superb, Honda CG125s are for winners.  That one looks mint, I've just got mine back on the road with a partial engine rebuild but it's a long way off looking that tidy.

Now then. :D

Nice eclectic fleet, mate. I hope the PT Loser is now part of someones shiny new kitchen, though!

+48.4 on the Rebels. 8)

i know those rebels well, the grey one used to be red,and a concours winner for many years on the trot at Reliant club rallies,it still had its original engine then though, and did the Reliant club LEJOG run twice. The pickup used to be a green estate (van conversion) but the owner got that far then realised he wouldnt be able to carry on getting away driving it on his bike licence( engine etc tips it way over the weight limit) as it needed inspecting having been off the road that long.

I seem to have a spare 650cc honda engine & carbs, & box that might suit that Rebel...

number plate must be worth something 728l they do a bmw 728i and it is transferable.

just cant wait to get the grey rebel on the road and have some fun going to shows etc, done them for years anyway but rather go in something of my own instead of been a passenger in my dads.

its got a 1098 morris minor engine with different cam and couple of other bits, with a 5 speed type 9 with uprated clutch, my dad owned a rebel years ago with a 1900 fiat twin cam in it, sold it then 10 years later my brother bought it, he then sold it to my cousin then to his mate now its been broken and in bits, may of been scrapped which i hope not tried getting hold of the guy but no joy.
