Everytime I click on this thread there's a new acquisition, or two, that knock me off my feet. I don't know how you're doing it but keep it up; it's brilliant and makes me smile.

Question is...do I buy this 505 GTI and the 604

Now there's a silly question, or at least a silly place to be asking it. OBVIOUSLY that would be a massive yes, to both.

Coventry plates on the 505 look vaguely familiar - ex-press fleet?

Well the Pug is here after evicting her from her last resting place. A quick wash with TFL and this is the un waxed and prepped car....I'm chuffed with this one. Original bill of sale, all MOTs, electric windows and sunroof!post-12144-0-89786800-1404238398_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-38032900-1404238429_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-99340400-1404238465_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-66507600-1404238506_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-90315200-1404238549_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-87841700-1404238586_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-47215100-1404238673_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-68949000-1404238703_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-21228100-1404238747_thumb.jpg

Beading? I've heard plenty of words for it but that's a new one.

I'm not sure Peugeots came out of the dealer that tidy!

Wow, that 104 is sensational! the 504 and 604 look interesting- what shape are they in?

This Pug was given a thorough Ziebart from new. So has been well preserved. It just needs the sills rubbing back and re painting, no rot. Some touch ups needed here and there..but otherwise spot on. Will have MOT'd within the month.

The 505 is mint, the 604 needs some work, not a basket case.

....and breathe.

Speechless.

How do you find them? No, second thoughts, for God's sake don't tell me.

Had a play with some of the toys today. Started with machine polish on the Fiat 127 Comfort...hasn't seen wax in 32 years....coming up a treat. Took the Yugo for his first ever test for his number plates....post-12144-0-16470000-1404328823_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-73239300-1404328874_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-15630900-1404328927_thumb.jpgpost-12144-0-34517200-1404328971_thumb.jpg

That little Pug is astonishing. 45k too, so not like it's spent its whole life hiding in a garage. It was actually driven a fair bit! Love the sliding sunroof. Wonderful.

That paintwork has come up at treat. Loving the 104, those auxiliary lights on the rear are fabtacular!

This thread just gets better.  Love the 104, I don't think I've ever seen one nearly as tidy as that, how do you keep finding them?  The Yugo's amazing too, shame I couldn't find time to come visit a couple of weeks back, I've missed out!

I remember getting a lift in a 104 like that during a French exchange trip.   My exchange student's older sister had to sit on my knee as there were about 6 of us in the car.   Happy days...

those reversingfoglights are giffertastic although someone seems to have stolen the engine and tried to disguise the fact with an odd wheel

Factory fit I believe. All new cars after 1979 had to be fitted with a foglight and reversing lights must have become compulsory around the same time. I've seen the same lights on other PSA cars of the time.

From reading the description on YouTube it does appear that he is selling / has sold it.

That was the newest oldest car I ever had....it was staggeringly mint....worth ever penny they asked IMO.
