r.welfare
Argh, that's bringing back all sorts of repressed horrible memories, although ours was white and sported the worst wheel trims Halfords could provide. It did something like 9,000 miles in 3 years. Presumably yours has the quality econometer and quick-release dashboard fittings like the air vents that fall out if you so much as look at them? Benjyp10
Yep, it had the econometric...can't say it falls apart. Not touched this one yet. The green GL Samara that I've just sold is a superb car, utterly reliable and very very comfy. Certainly up there with the rest in my collection. Cruises lovely at 70. lisbon_road
Very very impressed. All of them - that Alpine is so rare now. I remember when the scrapyards just seemed to fill up with rotten Alpines overnight. Well done. Benjyp10

HMC
Lovely! The earlier ones had 'system porsche' emblazonned down the lower body swage lines, and as a kid I was really impressed by this. I was more used to seeing graphics like '5 speed' stuck on cars. I still have no idea which bits if any were breathed on by Stuttgart engineers though. Lankytim
What's that black stuff under some of the cars, it's covering everything? I take it it's some posh anti-rust treatment?

ProgRocker
Nice Ibiza. When my mate Alan passed his test he was a named driver on his parents' J reg 1.2 CLX 5 door. Was a passenger in it a few times. Decent enough car. I remember that they did have problems with the automatic choke (only a few years old at the time) so this might be worth inspecting. phil_lihp
Nice to see a car get advertised on one post and then purchased on another! Never seen a ZLM before, that interior looks extremely basic, nice addition to the fleet!

Sigmund Fraud
Brilliant, as always ! Extra points for the XXX-rated shots of the rear suspension - I had completely forgotten about the odd transverse leaf spring arrangement on them !
