NSRA Street Rod Nationals Ipswich photos (LOTZ)

So Sunday was the Nationals again up the road from me, every year we get quite a diverse selection of cars turn up, this year wasn't quite as good sadly mostly due to the shoddy weather on Saturday putting people off plus there was quite a bit of modern stuff.

This Rover 216 was for sale but the arches looked a bit iffy, as did all the aerosol repairs.

WTactualF @ the three-wheeled courtesy car! You'd have to be desperate. It has a broken tent on top FFS!

There's quite a selection of machinery there Trigster, thanks for showing us. I don't quite 'get' most of it though.

i wana live where all the cars with no suspension/ground clearence are from ! as you need a 4x4 round here.

Awesome pics... Was that the real "car" from the movie? So ugly but fantastic at the same time.

Airbrushed transit, dodgy mondeo.

Everything else, I'd happily roll.

Lovely pics man.

Nice one, Trigs 8)

The 'council estate Cortinas' took me right back!

I think it was a replica, there used to be one like that which drove around Colchester at night creeping people out but that was based on a Mk1 Granada, it still looked the part though.

Cheers for sharing these Trigger, so much to like there, I don't know where to start.

That beavertail truck looks like a Chevy(?) cab on a modern(ish) chassis, possibly Iveco.

...  checks Cartell ...

Used to love the 70s Custom Car/Hot Car magazines.  Some of those motors look well tasty. :)

Great photos there Trigger. Some good stuff and some not so good.Liking the orange stripe on the A.team van

Some of those cars have been absolutely ruined, the corsair etc. it always makes me laugh that people think they can 'improve' on the original car design by lowering the suspension and painting flames on the side. Awful.
