Novanick, see if you can amend your thread title bro, to read verging on extinction. Some folks still don't get it!

I saw a red Nissan Prairie outside the Chesterfield Town Hall back when it was snowing and I had the Ledbury Maestro.*  I was struck then by how many I hadn't seen for the past couple of decades and I doubt I'll see another again.

I think you will find that even in mainstream cars that have a decent club followings in the UK there'll be extinct model varients. For example, I doubt there's any Cortina Mk5 1.6 LS Estates left in the world but plenty of other models.

Seems that there's at least one...

The Norwich Car show thread made me look through my phone pics as I was sure I recognized one of those motors:

Spotted in Tescos car park in Thetford.

But that's more turquoiseish than green, to keep the pettifoggery of this thread intact.

When did you guys last see one of those?

According to the cortina mafia my estate is/maybe  the last example of it's kind. An 1982 2.3 ghia S auto estate, there's supposed to be one other car in nye on identical spec but manual. Think theres' less than a dozen saloon variations.

Mahinderance Chief/Brave. Must be single figures by now.

Seen a few weeks ago, so there is at least one left. One Tredia Turbo too, but zero normal Tredias left in the UK. I'd love to see a non-turbo Cordia if anyone knows of a survivor?

On a separate note, how miserly is having one mirror like that? And in such a friggin inconvenient place? It's 1971, pissing down with rain and a passing cyclist nudges your mirror out of whack. Out you get in the rain and snow AGAIN.....

Is there any difference (apart from the badge) between a Commer Imp and the Imp-based Hillman Husky? A mate of mine has at least one Husky...
