I actually bought a new car in 1983. Twas a Seat Ronda SX (Málaga in the UK).

I also bought a new Moto-Guzzi 850 Le Mans III.

They didn't come onto the UK market until October... My dad had A774 MRN, he drove it off the forecourt on 22/1/84 (it was due on the first, apparently, but was delayed), it was a Burgundy 205GR. So that's one box ticked .

 

I have an MG Maestro 1600, current at the time, so that's the second box ticked .

 

Gawd knows for the third one... possibly an Ital 1.7SLX or maybe an Ambassador, being an BL Fan? Cavalier or Sierra have a period charm though *is bewildered* .
